The quality characteristics which related to oxidative stability of VCOs, such as peroxide value, iodine value and free fatty acid content, were then measured. It was found that all those parameters have effect on the quality of VCO.\u00a0 The appropriate time for fermentation was 36-48 h. In addition, the removal of fermented water at 12 h of fermentation could significantly lower the level of peroxide value of VCO (p-value &lt; 0.05).\u00a0 The VCO prepared by this method has overall quality complied with the standard of the Asian and Pacific Coconut Community (APCC).\u00a0 Moreover, it was stable within 12 month at room temperature, although the level of peroxide value and iodine value were significantly increase within 3months. The formulation development of skin cleansing preparations were performed using VCO as active ingredient. The formulation consisted of TGI&#8221; (PEG-20 Glyceryl Trisostearate) 15% as surfactant, phenoxy ethanol as preservative and vitamin E acetate as antioxidant. The VCO formulation was stable after 4 cycles of heating-cooling cycle (45*C- 24 h, 40 C- 24 h \u2013 1 cycle). With the same formulation, VCO showed significantly higher cleaning efficiency than mineral oil (p-value &lt; 0.05).\u00a0 In addition, the VCO could be replaced by the mix oils which consist of
