Therefore, any women transition through menopause with these unmanageable symptoms may significantly detrimental their quality of life. In addition, the increasing influence of complementary and alternative medicines in menopause has been reported worldwide. This study was designed to develop the suitable traditional-based aromatherapy (TA) massage oil with good stability and high antioxidant properties. (acrial parts), Zingiber montanum (J. Kocnig) Link ex A.Dietr., (rhizomes), Cirus Iystrir DC., (peel), Limacia triandra Miers. (leal), Bhumea balsamifera (L.) DC. (Ica), and Piper nigrum L., (fruits) were developed and the pilot scale batch (50 liters per balch) were made for testing their stability, safety, and antioxidant activity. The physical appearance, viscosity, pH, and in vivo primary skin irritation tests were evaluated. There were no changes in color, odor, and bomogeneity of the massage oils were observed. However, the formulated oils showed significantly reduced in their viscosity, and pH after storage at 40 \u00b0C. Among the AT oils, the stability of CS-MS001 in term of viscosity, and pH was found to be slightly greater than that of the other oils. No erythema or edema with the Primary Irritation Index of O was observed in the skin irritation test confirming the AT oils was nontoxic and safe. Antioxidant property of the AT oils using a variety of assessment methods including ABTS and DPPH radical scavenging activitics, ferric reducing antioxidant power, oxygen radical antioxidant capacity, lipid peroxidation, and nitric oxide radical scavenging assay showed that CS-MS004 possess the highest activity followed by CS-MS001, CS-MS003, and CS-MS002, respectively. According to the stability testing, antioxidant property, skin irritation test, and satisfaction levels as well as the odor preference of the formulated oils, CS-MS00I were sclccted for further experiment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.295; text-indent: 36pt; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.999999999999998pt; font-family: Kanit,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">A pilot study was preliminary conducted to determine the possibility effect of abdominal massages in combination with the massage oil (AAM) on somatic, psychological, and urogenital symptoms during menopause using the Menopause Rating Scale (MRS). The pilot study comprised 10 women who were received 30-minute AAM treatment sessions twice a week for 4 weeks. At 4<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13.999999999999998pt; font-family: Kanit,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><span style=\"font-size: 0.6em; vertical-align: super;\"> th <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13.999999999999998pt; font-family: Kanit,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">\u00a0week, the reduction from baseline in the somatic, psychological, and urogenital scores were found to be 2.40\u00b10.67 (95% confidence interval 1.54-5.66; P=0.003), 1.50\u00b10.54 (95% confidence interval, 2.03-5.97; P=0.001), and 1.80\u00b10.53 (95%confidence interval, 0.98-4.42; P=0.006), respectively, which were significantly difference in comparison with the baseline. To distinguish the effect of CS-MS001 from the traditional abdominal massage separately, a prospective randomized open-label control clinical trial was conducted. A total of 105 menopause women were enrolled from Feb 1, 2019, through Apr 30, 2019 at Hat Yai Chivasuk, the Health Promotion Center in Hat Yai, Songkhla Thailand. The study population were randomized to receive an AAM group and a placebo massage group. Each participant in the AAM group were subjected to 30-minute AAM treatment twice a week for 4 weeks, whereas participants in the controlled massage group received the same abdominal massage procedures without CS-MS001. In this present work, outcomes including menopausal symptoms, sleep quality, and depressive symptoms were measured using the MRS, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), respectively. Even though, the significant reduction in sleep quality and depressive symptoms of the participant after receiving the abdominal massage have been evidenced on this study, those scores were not differed significantly among these two groups. Therefore, among women during menopause transition, at least 2 weeks of the abdominal massage procedure according to &#8216;the Ancient Thai Massage Healing with Life Force&#8217; seem to relive the menopausal symptoms, improve the sleep quality, at least 4 weeks of the massage could reduce the depressive symptoms. The results of the present work additionally demonstrate that both massage and aromatherapy massage were effective in reducing menopausal symptoms. However, the AAM was more effective than the traditional massage in term of the psychological scores of the menopausal women.<\/span><\/p><div><span style=\"font-size: 13.999999999999998pt;
